A Short History
Our traditional Brush Factory was established in 1898 in Bechhofen a city in Bavaria. Here Karl Feurer established a small Brush Factory where he produced a wide range of finest Hair- and Quill Brushes.
Soon the Company had to be expanded and in 1903 the headquarter was established in Burk where it is still situated.
The company's first costumers lived in the neighborhood, but soon costumers in foreign countries - especially in the south and south-east of Europe - were won.

In the year 1936 Otto Feurer took over the company from his father. The time during and after the Second World War was very difficult for the company. The cooperation with many customers was interrupted, but 1950/1951 the export could be taken up again.
Since than the exports got higher every year. Today over 70% of the production is exported in foreign countries.
The company was developed further by Eduard - Eddie - Feurer from 1960 to 2003. With hard work and engagement the cooperation between the company and the customers were developed further and new customers were persuaded to buy our brushes.
Many customers buy their brushes from us for nearly 50 years.
